Does Blackroot replace ChatGPT or Claude?
No. Blackroot provides the connection layer. You still use your preferred AI interface, and you give it a Blackroot URL so it can reach your local environment safely.
Do I need to configure ports or servers?
No. Blackroot Desktop connects outward to the Cloud Relay. That avoids NAT and firewall setup, so your local network stays closed and needs no extra configuration.
Do my tools run in the cloud?
No. Tools, scripts, and MCP runtimes execute on your local machine. Blackroot only routes the requests and responses between the AI and your computer.
